Administered by the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation, the Frank Alonso Memorial Fund dispenses funds to youth soccer programs, coaches, and athletes who exemplify the principles of life and sport as embodied by Coach Alonso.

In search of this year's $1,000 grant recipient, the Frank Alonso Memorial Fund is now accepting applications. Applicants must submit a letter to frankalonsomemorial@gmail.com detailing how the funds would be used, and the positive impact they would make on the individual or organization. Submissions are due no later than July 1.

Winners will be announced at the 5th annual You’ll Never Run Alone 5K benefiting pancreatic cancer research on May 6 in Manhattan, Kansas. For more information about the race, please visit www.ynra5k.com.
